You are looking at a VINTAGE set of Lionel Union Pacific passenger cars. These are the cars that went with the classic yellow Alco diesels, sometimes called the 50th Anniversary set and sometimes the Pony Express. These were found together with the yellow diesels.
The diesel units were on top of the box and suffered some fading and scratches. However, the passenger cars are in much better shape, having been somewhat protected. That is why we listed them separately here. Has some scratches and paint nicks. Has a few marks and nicks in the roof. Overall, a nice looking set with consistent quality.They do have some scratches and a few paint nicks, detailed below. Pictures are the best description. Lease supersize the pictures to see it all up close and personal.
