I believe this was an uncatalogued set, circa 1936/37. It features a gray No.
249E Steam Engine, with a 2225W sheet metal nickel trimmed Tender. It includes the hard to find blue with aluminum roof No. 610, 610, 612 illuminated passenger cars. Here is a great set for your collections.Overall, the set loos great. The Engine is in excellent condition. Engine runs in forward and reverse when tested, however, the e-unit is a little sticky and will need some coaxing. It has some minor oxidation, but overall is very good. The Passenger Cars have repainted roofs. Some typical wear on the sides. Wheels, trucks and couplers look mostly clean. The Cars did light up when tested.
